April is a special time for Adolf Hitler’s fans worldwide and especially in the UK, where to commemorate Mr. Adolf’s birthday on Apr. 20th my favourite Daily Telegraph has published a ‘Rare colour photograph of Hitler’s birthday’.
It is nothing unusual in the UK where you can freely buy, sell and to some extend even use Hitler philosophy (as we know he was a great German thinker and philosopher…) and his ‘Main Kampf‘ in the school curriculum.

It is my understanding that lack of direct occupation and fact that Britain has never experienced the direct German terror during the war (with exception of so-called ‘Blitz’) leads not only to different World War II start date in the UK (most people believe it was 1940), but also to ignorance as to the concentration camps, mass extermination programs, etc. – that is full heritage of Adolf Hitler… and his book.

otherwise I would have overlooked such important article!
Life has put perfect post scriptum for the Hitler post.

John Ward, a (ex?)Conservative member of Medway Council in Kent suggest to sterilise ‘benefit spongers’. People not capable to rise kids on their own. But ideas like this are usually just a beginning…
Compulsory sterilisation and/or medical euthanasia was common practice for Hitler’s Reich NHS counterpart. Between 1939 – 1941 a number of people with down syndrome, dwarfs, gypsies, with syphilis and were sterilised by their GP’s and then as the war operation developed on East subsequently transported there gassed and burned in the industry crematories.
It is only typical British ignorance and lack of Europe’s history knowledge that allows anybody echoing nazi ideas 60 years later…
I would rather suggest compulsory history exams for UK politicians to make sure they know what to avoid.
